1/4 cup diced onions

1/4 cup black olives, chopped (optional)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Salsa or guacamole (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey with cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, bell peppers, onions, black olives (if using), garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.

Roll Out Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the pre-scored lines.

Assemble Sticks: Take a spoonful of the taco filling and place it at the wider end of each triangle. Roll the triangle towards the point, enclosing the filling. Make sure to pinch the edges to seal.

Egg Wash: Place the rolled taco sticks on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish.

Bake: Bake the sticks in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and puffed up.

Garnish & Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve warm with salsa or guacamole for dipping.
