Ingredients

1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)

Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon pieces dry with paper towels. This will help them crisp up when cooked.

Set Up Breading Stations: In one bowl, mix the flour with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. In a second bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.

Bread the Salmon Bites: Dredge each salmon piece first in the flour mixture, then dip it into the panko breadcrumbs, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated.

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and rice vinegar. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Cook the Salmon Bites: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded salmon bites in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

Glaze with Sauce: Once the salmon bites are cooked, reduce the heat and pour the honey garlic sauce over them. Toss gently to coat each piece evenly.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and transfer the crispy honey garlic salmon bites to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve warm with extra sauce on the side if desired.
