Ingredients

8 oz. fettuccine or penne pasta

1 lb. beef sirloin, sliced thinly

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon soy sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook until al dente according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sirloin, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, green bell pepper, and mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, beef broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and allow it to thicken slightly, about 5 minutes.

Add Cheese: Reduce heat to low and stir in provolone and parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

Mix with Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine everything well. Heat for another couple of minutes until warmed through.

Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and enjoy your delicious Philly Cheese Steak Pasta!
