Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 cup snap peas

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, grated

1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

2 green onions, chopped

1/4 cup sesame seeds (optional)

Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions

Heat Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Cook Turkey: Add the ground turkey to the skillet, cooking until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Use a spatula to break it apart as it cooks.

Add Vegetables: Stir in the sliced bell peppers and snap peas. Cook for another 3-4 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Sauté Aromatics: Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add Sauces: Pour in the teriyaki sauce and soy sauce, mixing thoroughly to coat the turkey and vegetables.

Thicken Sauce: Stir in the sesame oil and the cornstarch-water mixture. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Finish & Serve: Remove from heat, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
