The Big Mac, an iconic symbol of fast food culture, has captured the hearts (and stomachs) of millions since its launch in 1968. Its unique combination of flavors—the savory beef patties, creamy special sauce, fresh lettuce, pickles, and processed cheese—has made it more than just a meal; it’s a cultural phenomenon. This beloved burger has transcended generations, becoming a staple for comfort food seekers and a go-to for on-the-go meals. However, while the Big Mac may be a quick fix, it’s not always the healthiest or most convenient choice for those looking to enjoy its flavors at home.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1 cup sliced pickles

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp sweet pickle relish

Instructions

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Break it apart and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Season the Beef: Once the beef is cooked, stir in the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Remove from heat.

Make the Special Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, and sweet pickle relish. Mix until smooth and set aside.

Assemble the Wraps: Lay a large tortilla flat on a clean surface. In the center, place a scoop of the seasoned beef, followed by a handful of shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced pickles, and cheddar cheese.

Add Sauce: Drizzle a generous amount of the special sauce over the fillings.

Wrap It Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up from the bottom to the top, ensuring all the fillings are enclosed. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.

Optional Toasting: For a warm and crispy finish, place each wrap seam side down in a skillet over medium heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Serve: Cut each wrap in half and serve with extra special sauce on the side for dipping.
