Korean Ground Beef Bowl

Whip up a delicious Korean Ground Beef Bowl that’s packed with flavor and ready in just 20 minutes! Made with tender ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, and a hint of gochujang for that perfect kick, this dish is sure to satisfy your cravings. Served over jasmine rice or cauliflower rice and topped with fresh green onions and sesame seeds, it's a quick meal the whole family will love. Bonus: pair it with kimchi for an authentic touch!

Ingredients
  

1 lb ground beef (preferably 80% lean)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

4 green onions, chopped (whites and greens separated)

1 cup carrots, shredded

1 cup cooked jasmine rice or cauliflower rice

Sesame seeds for garnish

Kimchi for serving (optional)

Instructions
 

In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, gochujang, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

    Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef mixture and cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until fully cooked and browned.

      Stir in the chopped white parts of the green onions and shredded carrots. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the carrots are slightly tender.

        Serve the beef mixture over a bed of jasmine rice or cauliflower rice.

          Garnish with the green onion greens and sprinkle with sesame seeds. If desired, serve with a side of kimchi for an authentic touch.
