Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 egg (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it on a clean surface. Break it into individual triangles along the perforations.

Assemble the Rolls: On the wider end of each triangle, place about 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella, followed by 1 or 2 slices of pepperoni. Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning on top for added flavor.

Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end, carefully roll each triangle toward the pointed end, creating a nice spiral shape. Ensure the filling is enclosed inside.

Prepare for Baking: Place each rolled croissant on the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it on top of each roll for a golden finish.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
