Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if necessary)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

Burger buns (4)

Lettuce and tomato slices for serving

Your favorite condiments (like avocado, mayo, or aioli)

Instructions

Prep the Ingredients: Start by washing the spinach and finely chopping it. Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium heat.

Mix the Patties: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Dijon mustard. Use your hands to mix everything thoroughly until just combined.

Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty, about 1/2 inch thick. Make an indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.

Cook the Burgers: Drizzle olive oil on the grill or skillet. Place the patties on the hot grill or in the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on one side until browned, then carefully flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes on the other side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Assemble the Burgers: Once the patties are cooked, place them on the burger buns. Add lettuce, tomato slices, and any additional condiments you like.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve the burgers with a side of sweet potato fries or a simple salad for a complete meal. Enjoy your delicious White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers!
